Hebrews_12:2_ fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Biblical Truths — Knowing you’re saved

Romans 10:9-10  9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

1 John 5:10 The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,

1 John 5:13  These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

Even in the early Church people were not sure they were saved. That’s true today too. Read what was written for you by God and His Spirit will testify with your spirit if you have been born again. It's an inner consciousness that you belong to Jesus; an assuredness that you have in you. You will identify with the beliefs in the Word of God and see yourself it the words, and God will speak to you, through His Spirit. It’s never been audible to me. God speaks to me when I read His Word, I see Him work in my life and I see myself in scripture: I see my sufferings, my determination (boldness for the truth), my life and my problems are all addressed in God’s Word. God leads me to scripture that answers my needs and He comforts me by His Word and lets me know that He will take care of me and all my problems. He fights my battles for me. These are the type things you share in when you are born again. The almighty God actually speaks to you and when He does and you realize that, you thirst for more of Him and He gives you more of Him. Once you are on this road, you will never ever want anything but Him and His will. He is so caring and He does listen to you and grant your wishes. Not all of them because we are not perfect and do not know what we really need, but He does listen to our requests and does grant some of them, and some of them right then, and He tells you too, in your spirit. If you’re not experiencing God like this, it doesn't mean that you are not saved (though it could), it means you are not thirsting for His will as you should be. Hunger and thirst for His will. Open His Word and let Him speak to you.

If you’re not saved, Come to Jesus!

Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (King James).
