Hebrews_12:2_ fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. |

February 14, 2009
Within Genesis 12:5 and 15:21 is what God told me once when I was thinking, basically, “God I know I will have a son and I know his name but will I maybe adopt?” and I opened the Bible to page 12 in my Bible, and I first saw, (Genesis 15:6) “Then he believed in the LORD; and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.” and then God moved my eyes to see (from Genesis 15:4) …“This man will not be your heir; but one who will come forth from your own body, he shall be your heir.”
Some people don’t like that God speaks to me this way sometimes (this is not uncommon) and they even call it untrue or worse (they don’t believe God spoke to me, when He did). I do not lie and I will not lie. It’s important that you are told the truth. This is my testimony and I will not be silent. God certainly does not want me to be silent here. I am telling only those people who read this page, not everyone. If you are reading this page then you can handle the truth. Read this page for more about this.
Tomorrow I will be reading these scriptures in Genesis on February 14, 2009. I could get into February 14 more but I will just say... this being read then is a blessing that I do not understand and leave it at that (I’ll tell my future wife). I have some ideas about reversals while at the same time God rebuilding my life but since I don’t understand this enough to put on the Internet, I will leave it alone. I think there is a definite reversal here and a definite blessing but I really can’t speak about it.
So, mainly I just wanted to shout it out.
Here it is now Valentine's Day and I think two or three times I opened my Bible (maybe this was last night too. I am not sure) and looked down and saw (and it did not hit me as being new words from God for me, because He never stopped saying this, until I realized what the number of the verse was)
Song of Solomon 2:14 (this is 02/14. February 14)
14 "O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret place of the steep pathway, Let me see your form, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your form is lovely."
And this is exactly how I feel. Especially today. This being alone has been going on way too long.
Now (after I published that) I just got this back (is how I look at it) through God’s Word:
Song of Solomon 5:10-11a
10 "My beloved is dazzling and ruddy, Outstanding among ten thousand. 11 "His head is like gold, pure gold;
Then I say (I was reminded of this verse in church today: February 15),
Psalm 92:4 (my Bible) For Thou, O Lord, hast made me glad by what Thou hast done. I will sing for joy at the works of Thy hands.
And also, in church (February 15), we were asked if we got… a card from our valentine or something to that effect. It was something like that and I was thinking about a physical “I love you” card and I did not raise my hand. But, at the grocery I realized I got the real deal that I spoke of above from my future wife. I got a Valentine’s day message delivered by the Holy Spirit. Now that is something to make me glad: Psalm 92:4. Now, I want to see her, please Lord. Based upon how God led me to Song of Solomon 2:14, that is exactly what will soon happen: Face to face; hand in hand.
in Christ,
Rob Norman

Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
