Hebrews_12:2_ fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Suicide

If you’re on this page, and contemplating suicide, God does not want you to commit suicide. Don’t go through the despair you are now in, to then kill yourself and miss the reward God has for you, if you only will turn to Him.

God created you for a purpose and to kill yourself is not in His plan for you (Jeremiah 29:11). If, there are people who are to die that way, IT IS NOT YOU. God would not have brought you to this page if He wanted you to kill yourself. Therefore, Satan has been attacking you. He and his minions. You have been deceived by the devil and it’s time that you realized that. You have been around people that are keeping you from obeying God and living for Christ. They have placed burdens on you and lies in your mind. Do not fear, because in Christ there is nothing to be afraid of. He rendered Satan powerless from the cross (Hebrews 2:14) and you need to believe that. Do not give into the despair you feel. You have been tricked into believing lies. You were deceived (Deuteronomy 11:16; 2 Timothy 3:13) but so were we (Titus 3:3-7). There is a life for you, and a good one. We have been hard pressed (Philippians 1:23-25) too but as we must press on (Philippians 3:14) so must you, and cling to Christ and cry to Him (Psalm 18:6). All Christians cry to the Lord, so come join us. It is a tough world. We have been attacked by Satan too. I have. And, I also have been in your shoes.

You have sinned, as we all have (Romans 3:23), but in Christ we have 100% forgiveness of our sins (Colossians 1:13-17; Matthew 26:28; Luke 24:46-48; Acts 2:38). He can take this burden you are now feeling upon Himself. He died not only for your sins but to bear your burdens and grief (Isaiah 53:4-6). You are now so burdened… I know, but Christ is NOW pleading to you, to let Him bear this burden for you. He died for you. He loves you more than you can ever know and He will take this burden from you. Trust in Jesus and He will do it.

At this point you should be able to concede to the fact that your will did not work. God’s will for your life will work. You will still have problems. But, the difference in your life will be that they will make you strong and confident in the power of God in your life, rather than bring you to despair.

God made you (Psalm 139:13-14) and only He can direct your path (Proverbs 4:10-12). The pot cannot tell the potter in what form he should be made. It is the potter that decides how he shapes his art (Isaiah 64:8; Jeremiah 18:1-8). No one can make himself into anything. That is an illusion of the world (another one of Satan’s lies, so don’t you believe it). Only God makes people and for a purpose and when you begin to warp the art that He has made, you feel it in your soul. That is what you are feeling now. Only God directs peoples paths and He wants to direct yours. You have simply made wrong turns because you cannot guide yourself. No one can guide his own life. Do not feel as if you have failed there, you just fell for a lie, and one that most people believe. Your solution is not in organizations that are not Christ centered. Your solution is in Jesus Christ.

Pray now to the Lord. If you’re not saved, Come to Jesus! If you are saved, first pray that God forgive you and tell Him you will turn from your sin and seek His way. Pray that He show you His will and comfort you. Then, open your Bible and read His Word. There is nothing that will comfort you more that reading His word. It is a lot easier than suicide. Why would you quit the race defeated, when by God’s Word you will be refreshed and comforted? And, I believe in mush less than only an hour. Let the Word of God into your heart and your mind. Let Him speak to you. He wants to help you now. Let the peace of God comfort, and enlighten you.

Psalm 18:6  In my distress I called upon the LORD,  And cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, And my cry for help before Him came into His ears.

Psalm 30

Thanksgiving for Deliverance from Death.
A Psalm; a Song at the Dedication of the House. A Psalm of David.

    1 I will extol You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up,
          And have not let my enemies rejoice over me.
    2 O LORD my God,
          I cried to You for help, and You healed me.
    3 O LORD, You have brought up my soul from Sheol;
          You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit.
    4
Sing praise to the LORD, you His godly ones,
          And give thanks to His holy name.
    5 For His anger is but for a moment,
          His favor is for a lifetime;
          Weeping may last for the night,
          But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
    6 Now as for me, I said in my prosperity,
          "I will never be moved."
    7 O LORD, by Your favor You have made my mountain to stand strong;
          You hid Your face, I was dismayed.
    8 To You, O LORD, I called,
          And to the Lord I made supplication:
    9 "What profit is there in my blood, if I go down to the pit?
          Will the dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?
    10 "Hear, O LORD, and be gracious to me;
          O LORD, be my helper."
    11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing;
          You have loosed my sackcloth and girded me with gladness,
    12 That my soul may sing praise to You and not be silent
          O LORD my God, I will give thanks to You forever.

Isaiah 53

The Suffering Servant (Jesus Christ)

    1 Who has believed our message?
          And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
    2 For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot,
          And like a root out of parched ground;
          He has no stately form or majesty
          That we should look upon Him,
          Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him.
    3 He was despised and forsaken of men,
          A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief;
          And like one from whom men hide their face
          He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
    4 Surely our griefs He Himself bore,
          And our sorrows He carried;
          Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken,
          Smitten of God, and afflicted.
    5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions,
          He was crushed for our iniquities;
          The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him,
          And by His scourging we are healed.
    6 All of us like sheep have gone astray,
          Each of us has turned to his own way;
          But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all
          To fall on Him.
    7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
          Yet He did not open His mouth;
          Like a lamb that is led to slaughter,
          And like a sheep that is silent before its shearers,
          So He did not open His mouth.
    8 By oppression and judgment He was taken away;
          And as for His generation, who considered
          That He was cut off out of the land of the living
          For the transgression of my people, to whom the stroke was due?
    9 His grave was assigned with wicked men,
          Yet He was with a rich man in His death,
          Because He had done no violence,
          Nor was there any deceit in His mouth.
    10 But the LORD was pleased
          To crush Him, putting Him to grief;
          If He would render Himself as a guilt offering,
          He will see His offspring,
          He will prolong His days,
          And the good pleasure of the LORD will prosper in His hand.
    11 As a result of the anguish of His soul,
          He will see it and be satisfied;
          By His knowledge the Righteous One,
          My Servant, will justify the many,
          As He will bear their iniquities.
    12 Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great,
          And He will divide the booty with the strong;
          Because He poured out Himself to death,
          And was numbered with the transgressors;
          Yet He Himself bore the sin of many,
          And interceded for the transgressors.

Isaiah 55:6-13

    6Seek the LORD while He may be found;

         Call upon Him while He is near.

    7Let the wicked forsake his way

         And the unrighteous man his thoughts;

         And let him return to the LORD,

         And He will have compassion on him,

         And to our God,

         For He will abundantly pardon.

    8"For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

         Nor are your ways My ways," declares the LORD.

    9"For as the heavens are higher than the earth,

         So are My ways higher than your ways

         And My thoughts than your thoughts.

    10"For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven,

         And do not return there without watering the earth

         And making it bear and sprout,

         And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;

    11So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;

         It will not return to Me empty,

         Without accomplishing what I desire,

         And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.

    12"For you will go out with joy

         And be led forth with peace;

         The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you,

         And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

    13"Instead of the thorn bush the cypress will come up,

         And instead of the nettle the myrtle will come up,

         And it will be a memorial to the LORD,

         For an everlasting sign which will not be cut off."

Romans 8:38-39 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (King James).
